• The Society of Bluffton Artists 2025 Holiday Market:
The Society of Bluffton Artists (SOBA) is celebrating the season of giving and creativity with its Annual Holiday Market, open Nov. 3 through Dec. 28 at the SOBA Art Gallery in Old Town Bluffton. Each year, SOBA transforms its featured artist room into a cheerful boutique bursting with handcrafted treasures made by local artists. Visitors will find paintings, jewelry, ceramics, pottery, prints, photography, cards, stained glass, and wood art – plus festive décor and giftable pieces that showcase the heart of Bluffton’s creative spirit. The Holiday Market is open during SOBA’s regular gallery hours: Monday–Saturday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Website.

• 54th Annual Bluffton Christmas Parade:
The Town of Bluffton is proud to host its annual Bluffton Christmas Parade on Saturday, Dec. 6 at 10 a.m., rain or shine! This parade, which has been a part of Bluffton tradition for five decades, strolls through Historic Downtown Bluffton. For more information, click HERE.
• Town of Bluffton’s Tree Lighting:
Bluffton’s Tree Lighting ceremony will begin at 5:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 5, at Martin Family Park, followed by Santa’s Workshop at DuBois Park’s Pavilion. The movie, Arthur Saves Christmas, will begin at 6:30 p.m. at Martin Family Park. Please bring blankets and/or chairs. Martin Family Park and DuBois Park are adjacent to each other on Boundary Street in the Historic Distr;ict. On Dec. 14, with two time options from 9-11 a.m. or 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., enjoy a decadent Christmas Brunch and festive decor at Hewitt Oaks. Fill up on indulgent holiday-themed dishes and an abundance of holiday cheer. While this event is designed for families, you’re more than welcome to join us even if you don’t have children to bring along — invite your mom, sweetheart, or girlfriends instead. Santa 5K Run:
The heart of Santa is alive and well (and fit to run) in the Lowcountry. On Dec. 20, 9 a.m., you’re invited you to join us at the Community Santa Run (or walk) 5K and “Santa Chase” Kids Fun Run. Proceeds from the race will benefit Bluffton Self Help. Dress in your best holiday costume and you may win the best-dressed award! The weather forecast is SNOW at the finish! Participants are encouraged to bring toy donations or non-perishable food items for Bluffton Self Help to assist in providing resources to our community through the holidays. Christmas Eve Under the Stars:

Come worship under a twinkling canopy of lights and stars on the May River with The New Bluffton Worship and our friends at First Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Dec. 24 at 6:30 p.m. Live music and singing of carols, Christmas messages, and the celebration culminates with the lighting of candles to Silent Night. The park has some seating or bring a lawn chair. Free refreshments and music starting at 6 p.m. Any donations will benefit our Blessings Ministry, which provides school supplies, uniforms, Christmas gifts, and more throughout the year to families in need.
