Annual Holiday Market Features Original Artwork, Handcrafted Gifts and Holiday Décor from More Than 90 Local Artists
The holiday season is getting a creative start in Old Town Bluffton as the Society of Bluffton Artists (SOBA) welcomes shoppers to its ever-popular annual Holiday Market. On view throughout November and through December 23, the market offers a festive shopping experience featuring handcrafted holiday décor, ornaments and one-of-a-kind gifts created by local artists. The market will be open 7 days a week, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 11 a.m. through 3 p.m. Sundays.
In addition to SOBA’s monthly art exhibits showcasing the work of more than 90 local artists, the gallery sets aside one of its five art-filled rooms exclusively for the annual Holiday Market. This special space features an assortment of handcrafted holiday decorations, ornaments and small, one-of-a-kind items perfect for gift giving.
A longtime holiday tradition in Bluffton, SOBA’s Holiday Market offers an opportunity to find meaningful gifts while supporting the Lowcountry’s vibrant arts community. From handmade ornaments and festive home accents to unique keepsakes and thoughtful hostess gifts, the market features something for nearly everyone on a holiday shopping list.
Throughout the rest of the gallery, visitors can explore SOBA’s rotating monthly exhibits and browse an eclectic selection of original paintings, fine art prints, greeting cards, handcrafted jewelry and sculpture.
With artwork and gifts available in a variety of styles and price points, SOBA offers plenty of opportunities to discover locally made treasures that aren’t available in traditional retail stores.
Additionally, SOBA will participate in Old Town Bluffton’s “Shop Local on Black Friday” celebration on Friday, November 27. Residents and visitors are invited to stop by SOBA Gallery to browse one-of-a-kind gifts, enjoy complimentary refreshments and support local artists while exploring the shops and galleries of historic Old Town Bluffton.

Bluffton Farm & Flea is celebrating the holiday season with a full schedule of shopping opportunities and special events.
Located at 172 Bluffton Road in Bluffton, the market will be open Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visitors can browse a wonderful variety of locally grown produce, fresh flowers and herbs, local honey, handmade crafts, artisan goods, vintage treasures, antiques, unique home décor, and delicious offerings from food vendors.
In addition to the regular weekend markets, shoppers can enjoy the Indoor Vintage Shoppe and Bazaar every Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. throughout November and December. This special midweek shopping experience offers vintage and one-of-a-kind finds along with select local products. Please note that the Wednesday Bazaar is indoors only, with no outdoor vendors participating.
December continues the holiday shopping fun with regular Friday and Saturday markets on December 4–5, 11–12, 18–19, and 25–26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., along with Wednesday Vintage Bazaars on December 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. November also features special Sunday vintage and art vendor markets on November 15 and 22, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
