1. Side Hustle Brewing Company
Side Hustle is a new brewery and taproom in the heart of Bluffton, which opened in July 2024. Their new taproom invites craft beer enthusiasts come together to celebrate their passion in a vibrant community setting. You can enjoy the best of the area’s food trucks along with the beer, so there’s always a new menu.

2. Fair Winds Bar & Grill
Although located in the Rose Hill community, Fair Winds Bar & Grill is open to the public. Open for lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch, they offer live music, outdoor seating, golf course views, and a full bar. Fair Winds serves a family-friendly menu.
They also host a myriad of events, including live music performances, community meetings, weddings, birthdays and anniversary parties and golf events. Fair Winds Bar & Grill opened in July 2024.

3. Joelle Italian Restaurant & Bar
Meet the Founders: Robert & Breana DeLeo
Rob’s passion for the food and beverage industry is rooted in his New York upbringing, where his father’s Long Island deli businesses gave him firsthand experience. This led him to venture into food and beverage design and equipment. With the knowledge gained from his family, Rob carved his own path, working his way up from serving and managing in South Florida to becoming a Food & Beverage Director in Charleston, SC. His career is a testament to diverse and rich experiences.
Breana, with her Southern upbringing, has a natural talent for hospitality. Whether hosting an intimate dinner for four or a gathering for twenty, her attention to detail shines through. Her keen eye for fashion, design, and mixology significantly influences Joelle’s social media presence and aesthetic.
The couple’s move from New York to the South during the pandemic was a natural decision. Although they were determined to open a restaurant, the timing and location were initially uncertain. However, after exploring the Lowcountry, they fell in love with Bluffton, SC. Their vision was ambitious yet clear—exceptional food, fine wine, and an enchanting dining experience. Just as their restaurant dreams began to materialize, they welcomed their daughter Joelle, whose arrival inspired them to create a memorable dining experience in Bluffton, which opened in April of 2024.
Executive Chef, Brandon Torres
Brandon Torres, originally from Florida, earned his culinary arts degree at Johnson & Wales University in Denver, Colorado. He refined his craft at top-tier establishments like Westin, Omni, and The Ritz-Carlton hotels, gaining experience in AAA 5-diamond rated venues after relocating to Ohio.
Following his hotel experience, Brandon broadened his skills across the hospitality industry. Passionate about sharing his knowledge, he taught both recreational and professional culinary students and excelled in private fine dining. Most recently, Brandon was part of the culinary team at Colleton River Club in Bluffton.

4. SliderBar Bluffton
Deborah and Pete Sr., the parents, have long owned real estate in the Promenade, but SliderBar marks their first venture in Bluffton. Opening in March of 2024 SliderBar aims to reinvent the classic burger slider, offering fresh, locally sourced ingredients with innovative twists.

5. Okàn

Opening in June of 2023, Okàn aims to celebrate the essence of underrepresented cuisines by exploring the culinary heritage of West African-rooted cooking. They use fresh local ingredients to craft dishes that narrate the origins of their components. Okàn means ‘heart’ or ‘soul’ in Yoruba, a West African language and represents a rich cultural concept. Okàn celebrates the essence of underrepresented cuisines, guiding you on a culinary adventure in a vibrant, welcoming setting.
The menu highlights the origins of ingredients, their evolution due to forced migration, and how they now embody a sophisticated blend of cultures. Okàn’s Executive Chef, Bernard Bennett, has been named a 2023 Semifinalist for Emerging Chef by the James Beard Foundation. His passion for exploring the history and culture behind our food helped shape the concept of Okàn.

6. CRUDO
Opening in March 2023 CRUDO Bluffton is a new destination for a modern raw bar experience, offering fresh crudo and exquisite entrees paired with amazing craft cocktails and wines in Old Town Bluffton.
