The Gift of Golf

Enjoy this inspiring sport for a lifetime.

Golf is an attractive sport for players of all ages. It’s exhilarating and peaceful at the same time. Golf is relaxing yet strenuous, and has the power to uplift the confidence of any person.

Golf can increase our metabolism and help us lose weight, improve our balance, increase mobility and boost our day-to-day metabolism. It also creates lifelong memories and enhances relationships between spouses, parent and grandchildren. In addition, this incredible sport improves your social skills and helps you get invited to more activities, since you’ll have golf to talk about.

As the holidays approach, it’s a great time to remember that golf is an amazing gift. In fact, golf is a gift that can:

Be enjoyed for a lifetime, like a diamond.

Golf lessons can take frustrated golfers and make them sparkle. Palmetto Dunes offers lessons for all skill levels, starting at age 3. Best of all, equipment is included for free. Classes include Lil Swingers for 3 to 7 year-olds, Beginners, Full Swing and Back to Basics. You can also enjoy private lessons with PGA Class A instructors.

Improve mental and physical health.

I have my happy hour in the practice area as the sun is going down. This area is quiet, and golf naturally encourages you to slow down. The teenagers love it because they can unleash the power if they want. They also love the openness of the golf course, with big park-like spaces and expansive skies.

Be experienced immediately.

Tee off anytime you like on some of the area’s best championship courses. This is a great time of year to hit the green.

Be similar to a yoga or Pilates class.

Golf encourages you to stretch slowly, breathe and repeat. This series of actions helps to eliminate tension, increase flexibility and promote more graceful, fluid movement.

Wishing you very Happy Holidays. I hope to see you out on the course!
