About Palmetto Animal League (PAL)
Palmetto Animal League (PAL) is a private, non-profit, no-kill rescue organization dedicated to giving every animal the second chance they deserve.
Located in Okatie, South Carolina, the Adoption Center provides a safe and nurturing temporary home for about 200 dogs and cats as they wait to find their forever families. This welcoming facility also houses PAL’s Community Clinic, where pet owners can access affordable services like wellness exams, vaccinations, and other essential care.
Beyond their Adoption Center, PAL works with a devoted network of foster families who provide love and care for abandoned animals until they are ready for adoption.
The Adoption Center is open year-round.
It welcomes visitors from Noon to 6 PM, Monday through Saturday. On average, dogs find their forever homes in 67 days, while cats stay around 107 days. PAL’s Veterinary Clinic provides essential services like wellness exams, vaccinations, and more at affordable rates to support pet owners and their beloved companions.
