This course will cover the basics of acrylic painting from paint, canvas, pallet and brush selection; brush stroke techniques; canvas preparation; composition basics; thumbnail sketching; transferring drawing to canvas. I will use my 40+ years of acrylic painting to teach you the step-by-step processes for a successful acrylic painting with the Joshua Trees of California being the subject to be painted in class.
