About Rebecca Loebe
Known for her distinct voice, well-crafted songs and ability to bring an audience to her journeys, Rebecca Loebe has toured non-stop since 2009, averaging 150-200 shows per year as a headliner and as support for The Civil Wars, Ellis Paul, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Nicki Bluhm and the Gramblers, Matt the Electrician and others. In 2014 she performed in 35 states of the U.S., Canada, Europe and Japan and was tapped by Goose Creek Records to record and produce 3 Nights Live and Rebecca Loebe Live, her first official live concert releases. She’s won numerous awards for her songwriting, including the prestigious Kerrville New Folk Award, and has received recognition for her unique, powerful voice. In 2011 she was a featured contestant on the first season of NBC’s “The Voice,” winning a spot on Team Adam and an iTunes Top 10 single worldwide with her captivating re-imagination of Nirvana’s “Come As You Are.”
About Luke Jackson
Luke Jackson is a singer-songwriter from Canterbury, Kent, who, in 2013, was nominated in the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards for both the Horizon Award for Best Emerging Talent and The Young Folk Category. With a bold, distinctive voice and a sweet, percussive guitar style, Luke is a confident and captivating live performer.
He’s steadily been developing a reputation for himself in the folk, roots and acoustic circuits either through his solo shows, many festival appearances or when opening for such luminaries as Show of Hands, Steve Knightley, Martyn Joseph, Karine Polwart, Oysterband, Paul Brady, Glen Tilbrook, Sarah Jarosz, Lucy Ward and Seth Lakeman. He has also completed several tours of Scotland, with the last 3 years including playing sold out nights at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Luke started 2016 with a series of joint headline shows with Grammy Award winner Amy Wadge, played for the first time at the International Folk Alliance conference in Kansas and either solo or with the Trio, has gigged all over the UK and Europe. Luke is an ever present in the live music scene and he remains a prolific songwriter with his third full album “Tall Tales and Rumours” released in November 2016.
