The 42nd Annual Catfish Festival begins Friday, Sept. 16, 6-9 p.m. and continues through Saturday, Sept. 17, 10 a.m.-10 p.m. with an assortment of amusement rides, parades, contests, food, crafts and family musical entertainment on Main Street in Hardeeville. A cook-off featuring catfish stew and a delicious bake-off including cakes, pies and cookies along with a corn hole tournament will prove to be competitive fun. A spectacular fireworks display will take place on Saturday evening. The night ends with an exciting fireworks display for all to enjoy.
