August 10: The Coastal Discovery Museum on Hilton Head Island presents a “Family Fun Day” on August 10 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at their location at Honey Horn.
During the day in the Kid’s Zone, children will have an opportunity to try on Colonial clothing, play with Colonial toys and games, take a scavenger hunt on the painted mural wall and learn about shells, turtle bones and many other items found on Hilton Head Island thanks to the sponsorship of The Bargain Box. Myrtle the Terrapin and horseshoe crabs are also in the room for entertainment. The Tom Peeples Discovery Lab will be open for all to meet our friendly alligator, corn snake, horseshoe crabs and so much more!
