October 16: Join Al Stokes, Manager/Wildlife Biologist IV, as he presents what is happening at the Waddell Mariculture Center during the renovation process. The presentation will be followed by a Crab-Pickin’ and Oyster-Shuckin’ Demonstration by the ladies of The Bluffton Oyster Company. Guests will benefit from the results of their hard work as a prelude to the Dinner Buffet. The buffet includes Gumbo 2 Ways (chicken and seafood), Caesar salad, cornbread, cookies, and tea. Beer and wine will be available for purchase. 5-9 p.m. Waddell Mariculture Center, 211 Sawmill Creek Rd. Reservations required, $30/per person. Proceeds to Waddell Mariculture Center.
