Join us for the third annual Buffalo Run, which includes 10k, 30k and 50k races to benefit the Palmetto Bluff Conservancy. Held on Sunday, October 9, 2016 the Buffalo Run trail winds deep into the ancient maritime forests of Palmetto Bluff. Don’t be afraid to get a little muddy – it’s all a part of the experience. Registration is now open at Active.com (click here to register). It is $40 for the 10K, $50 for the 30K, $75 for the 50K, $110 for a three-person relay team for the 30K and $150 for a five-person ultra relay team for the 50K. Packet pick-up is Saturday, Oct. 8 at the Palmetto Running Company, 30 Plantation Park Dr., from 12-5 p.m. There will be food trucks serving breakfast and lunch, including including Downtown Curbside Kitchen, Lowcountry Rocks Lobstaaah and River Dog Brewery
All participants who register before October 1 will receive Buffalo Run shirts; the 30K and 50K runners will also receive camo hats and the 50K runners will also receive trophies. Awards will be given to the overall male and female finishers in each race.
Buffalo Run Schedule:
5:30 a.m. – gates open
6:30 a.m. – 50K Race begins (6.5 hour time limit)
8:30 a.m. – 30K Race begins
10 a.m. – 10K Race begins
11:30 a.m. – After party and award presentation begins
