On Friday, August 26, 2016, singer, songwriter, and guitarist Anders Thomsen will perform at The Roasting Room, above The Corner Perk, after Clarence Bucaro’s show, from 9-10:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for Thomsen’s show and $5 for Bucaro’s show from 6:30-8 p.m. The show is for individuals 21 years and older and an ID is required. After playing blues and rock and roll in Michigan, Thomsen moved to New York City, where he played with the Vipers, Sylvain Sylvain and Dixie Carter, to name a few. He co-founded the Ex-Husbands, who released two Americana top 10 albums and toured heavily for four years. After living in Nashville for years, Anders moved to Savannah, Georgia, in 2011 after playing lead guitar for Damon and the Sh!tkickers. Anders continues to perform with Damon, as well as his own band, the Downtown Sheiks, and just last year he released his self-titled album.
