At 1,000-plus acres, Hampton Hall is one of the largest residential properties under development in Buckwalter. The private, gated community features an 18-hole golf course designed by Pete Dye and a separate club. Within the community, 17 acres feature an activity center situated on a lake; a health and fitness center for aerobics, massage, and weightlifting; an indoor pool, function rooms for various clubs and activities; and a cafe. In addition, there will be an outdoor pool, basketball courts, eight tennis courts, an outdoor cookout pavilion, a clubhouse, and 6.5 miles of walking and biking trails. A total of about 975 units are planned for the development. Residents can choose from five different housing opportunities: homes, home/lot packages, cottages and carriage homes and various lot sizes and views. It is the first Bluffton community to install fiber-to-the-home lines to every home.
