Monday – Friday:

Cappy the Clown will be returning to HarbourFest this year, May 27 through Labor Day, from 6 – 9 p.m. Cappy will provide face painting, balloon animals and other activities. Tuesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays:
Wish Upon A Horse Therapeutic Riding Center provides FREE therapeutic horseback riding lessons to children and adults with special needs. These lessons are available for residents and visitors. Volunteers to assist during lessons are always needed as well and no experience with horses is necessary. Donations are always welcome. Please call or visit website for more information. Wednesday & Thursday:
Summer Fun Series, “Parent’s Night Out, Kid’s Night In” at The Sandbox, an Interactive Children’s Museum, 18-A Pope Ave. June 10-Aug. 9. Drop the kids off and enjoy an adult’s night out while the kids let their imaginations run wild playing with fun exhibits and activity areas. Staff supervised arts and crafts, dinner (pizza, drink, dessert) & a fun take home craft for each child. Wednesdays:
Waffle Cone Wednesdays at Lovin’ Spoons Self-Serve Frozen Yogurt in Bluffton at Belfair Towne Village. $2 Waffle Cones, swirl your favorite yogurt in a waffle cone for only $2, no toppings please. Wednesdays:
The Coastal Discovery Museum will present Animals of the Lowcountry from Oatland Island Wildlife Center. Participants will learn about lowcountry animals, as they see a barred owl, corn snake, alligator, opossum, flying squirrel, armadillo and more. 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. $12 for adults and $7.00 for children, with advance reservations required. 70 Honey Horn Dr. (843) 689-6767 ext 223 or coastaldiscovery.org.

Thursdays:

Fishing Camp at The Coastal Discovery Musuem at Honey Horn, 70 Honey Horn Dr. An interactive day camp where kids learn the basics of fishing, crabbing, and shrimping, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. The program will help kids discover the sport of fishing and give them all the tools necessary to continue fishing for years to come. August 10:Sweetgrass Basket Making Classes at the Coastal Discovery Museum, 70 Honey Horn Dr., 10:30 a.m. Learn about the history of the Sweetgrass basket, one of the Lowcountry’s best known art forms, from a local Gullah basket maker. 32nd Annual HILTON HEAD ISLAND CELEBRITY GOLF TOURNAMENT!
